The Interior
This Bible has it's original pastedowns and original fly-leaves. The initial sections, up to the Chronological and Other Valuable Tables (as shown in a photograph), exhibit wear on the outer edges, with noticeable chipping on the fore-edge of the pages. The Places Mention In The Acts Map is heavily chipped along the outer edges, but firmly intact; Also, A New Map of Palestine or the Holy Land Map is heavily chipped and dog-eared, but also intact (See Photos). It is crucial to understand that these are not new Bibles; they are antiquarian books that should be treated accordingly, in this case, a 142 year-old Bible.
