The Little Blue Books were a series of small, inexpensive, staple-bound booklets published by the Haldeman-Julius Publishing Company in Girard, Kansas, from 1919 to 1978, selling hundreds of millions of copies. They became immensely popular, providing affordable access to culture and ideas for a wide range of American readers, from the working class to the educated elite.
