The Heart Shield Bible - The New Testament, Undated (World War II)

A rare piece of wartime history,  The National Edition of the New Testament was issued to soldiers during World War II, these Bibles feature a unique bullet shield, crafted from sturdy brass, that protected many servicemen in the heat of battle. This artifact not only offered spiritual solace but also literally saved lives, standing as a testament to the resilience and faith of its bearers.

Our research shows that a Charles Emery Warrick of West Newton, PA (possibly this Charles Emery Warrick) served in the U.S. Army during World War II and later served in the Army Reserves.
